I represent adults charged with misdemeanors and felonies in all types of criminal proceedings ranging from arraignments to pre-trial conferences, trials, and sentencing. I have handled adult cases involving assault, battery, drug possession, DUI’s, domestic violence, drug sales, gang assaults, Prop 36, DEJ, expungements, and many others.
I spend a lot of time with a client before the first court appearance in order to inform the client of his/her rights, court procedures, possible outcomes, and explaining the nature of the offenses charged. Then, I develop a strategy and coherent plan of execution for the representation. I represent each client in the same manner I would in representing myself. My devotion of time to cases varies according to the seriousness of the offense but my quality of representation and effort does not. I devote all the same skill, strategy, and effort to each of my cases whether it be a simple traffic violation or a serious felony charge with Three Strikes implications.
